Helping Women With Chronic Pelvic Pain in DC-MD-VA

Chronic pelvic pain is a medical condition that many women suffer from. Urinary, reproductive, and gastrointestinal conditions may cause women to have pelvic pain, however, there are other circumstances that may be causing the pain.

Pelvic Congestion Syndrome is caused by varicose veins in the lower abdomen that have poor blood flow. A patient may also suffer from May-Thurner Syndrome that is caused by a compression of the iliac veins.
