Dr. Alfred Hurley is a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist who has performed a variety of complex percutaneous procedures for over 10 years. He has extensive experience in cardiac, peripheral vascular, and venous pathology, as well as minimally invasive treatment and therapies. Dr. Hurley is passionate about communication and patient education—particularly as it pertains to knowledge, clarity, and understanding regarding medical care and treatment options. He takes great pride in serving his community. Prior to relocating to the DMV to be closer to family and friends, Dr. Hurley spent seven years in southern Delaware and served as director of the catheterization lab while growing both a vein clinic as well as a hospital based limb salvage program to decrease rates of amputations.
Dr. Hurley did his undergraduate work at Emory University and began his medical training at the University of Kentucky. He subsequently completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of South Carolina (Greenville), cardiology fellowship at Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, WI, and interventional cardiology fellowship at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. In his free time, Dr. Hurley enjoys spending quality time with family, photography, and golf.
