Winter Newsletter Highlights

The Center for Vascular Medicine Winter Newsletter spotlights the typical signs and symptoms of vascular conditions that can lead to more complex health problems when left untreated, as has been the case for many patients as diagnosis and treatment for these disorders has only recently become more widespread. Dr. Vinay Satwah, DO, discusses both Pelvic congestion syndrome (PCS) and May-Turner Syndrome, outlining keys to diagnosis and common treatment plans that can provide permanent relief for patients as well as a return to better health. PCS and May-Turner, both of which affect women between the ages or 20 and 50, can cause debilitating pain in the pelvic region and/or legs due to the vascular inefficiencies that can be corrected in an outpatient procedure. Women often suffer for years with these health issues, putting themselves unknowingly at greater risk for related health problems and affecting their quality of life. The dedicated staff of the Center for Vascular Medicine have the specialized training and experience to address these vascular conditions, offering women the chance to regain their health and improve their quality of life.
